 About the Designer...

Maureen Fiorellini

Maureen is a New Jersey-based artist, lifelong creative, pizza lover, Maureen Fiorellini creates sweet character art and surface patterns for a variety of products sold worldwide. Her work reflects everything she holds dear- family life, nature and travel. She traded in her commute and NYC design job to freelance and raise her 3 boys with her wonderful husband. Her preferred medium is pencil and paper. She creates hand drawn illustrations which she then carefully digitizes making sure to maintain the organic quality of her art. She also enjoys working in watercolor and gouache. She suffers from ICMT ( I could make that) and when not at her desk, she can be found making or growing something that she saw on Pinterest.

This collection features 13 different prints showing off the most adorable tossed bears, foxes, bunnies, footprints and mushrooms. Each of the prints are perfect coordinates that can be used to make a sophisticated baby quilt, or to decorate a child's room. The neutral greens, creams and navy are perfect for any gender neutral project.

One of the best parts about this collection are the panels!!

The 24" panel is filled with 6" blocks featuring cute forest animals surrounded by words of positivity.

The second 24" panel shows a variety of woodland creatures (who doesn't love a baby deer or a snuggly fox?) surrounded by nature inspired art with adorable borders. 

But the PROJECT PANEL!! This is the one I am most excited about.

Project Panel - Find Your Path

This Project panel features all of the fabric, and pattern instructions needed to create your very own Forest Friends fabric book with matching finger puppets. These types of panels are perfect for new sewers or those who prefer to have all of the elements needed/provided to create a handmade piece for a friend, family member, co-worker--or even yourself ;) **Batting not included of course!

Stay tuned as I will be sure to post my progress while working on this panel project, and some pretty cool surprise projects with this collection.
